Esther specialises in tactile 3D work, idea generation and story / world building.  Esther has been producing puppets for 5 years and has been doing stop motion animation for 3 years. Esther combines animation with other mediums such as sewing and textile art to create her work.

Mo_&_A is a design products brand based in Taipei and London, specialising in innovative metal homeware design and production. They explore the potential of materials and reinterpret existing hardware to create objects with strong storytelling.

PulpaTronics mission is to provide businesses with more sustainable and affordable inventory solutions that reduce environmental impact, to help track paper-based, single-use items for a more circular economy.

They've developed chipless, metal-free, paper RFID tags. These novel tags do not require metal extraction and are cheaper and compatible with existing recycling methods. Their innovative laser technology induces a conductive circuit directly onto paper, streamlining the manufacturing process and eliminating the need for metal and silicon components. It significantly reduces the environmental footprint of RFID tag production as a result.

Clara Chu is the name sake brand of Clara Chu, a London based multidisciplinary artist and handbag designer.

Clara creates work that re-imagines everyday, mundane objects in our domestic world, mixing mass production with the hand crafted. Visionary and colourful pop accessories challenge what we wear on our bodies, not only textiles but everyday household objects we take for granted such as a mop, a kettle and a toothbrush. Clara’s exploration around up-cycling questions the prominence of fast-moving consumer goods, blurring boundaries between ‘high’ and ‘low’ forms of culture through humorous transformations. Her practice helps change the perception around wastes in forms of fashion accessories, workshops and installations, turning discarded household objects into the most wanted.

AGREKA BUILD is a UK-based material innovation company that specialises in net-zero construction and regenerative building solutions.

Their unique approach involves collaborating with farmers to transform agricultural waste into innovative, green construction materials. By repurposing waste into valuable resources, AGREKA BUILD aims to reduce environmental impact, support rural economies, and lead the transition towards a net-zero, circular economy in agriculture and construction.

Ana Córdoba Crespo is a multidisciplinary designer from Spain currently based in London, where she has recently graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in Fashion Print.

Her work blends fashion and technology as both a physical and digital designer, creating and simulating digital garments to explore design, fit, and movement virtually. Ana sees technology as a catalyst for fashion innovation, believing that digital twins of physical garments can reach a wider audience by existing in both realms.

Sculptor Yasmin Watts creates work which reflects upon human interaction especially in relation to public space. Utilising her training and former practice as an architect, Watts creates imagined, theatrical settings inspired by the forms and scales of the urban environment to place her sculpted human figures within. Playing with proportion and position, gesture and expression, Watts asks of her figures and of those who engage with them: what do humans, as a fundamentally social species, need in order to survive and thrive? More specifically, what might a sculpture practice bring to understandings of what it means to live with one another, in urban communities structured around principles of care?

Her figures are statements of momentary events captured intentionally in life-like colour, set against the backdrop of our current world. The general public will stop, contemplate and interact with these statements.

Hana Hudson, based in London and Bratislava is a biodesigner, researching textile & material lifecycles and their impact on soil health through decomposition. Her work applies biological processes into design practices.

Katie May is a Senior CMF (colour, material and finish) and Sustainability Strategist working with a diverse set of global clients over transport, packaging, product design and consumer electronics. By using an interdisciplinary design process, Katie May aims to bring positive social and environmental change through materiality. Trained and experienced in circular approaches, Katie May is a certified Circular Specialist by the Circular Economy Institute (CEI).

Holding a BA in Costume Design from the London College of Fashion and an MA in Material Futures at Central Saint Martins Katie May has worked across a wide range of creatives practices that have informed an approach that combines visionary narratives with pragmatic solutions.

Sam Samuli is a California and London-based maker who works with new robotic micro-warehousing and e-commerce concepts, builds mutant vehicles, creates art using 3D printers, and operates a Burning Man theme camp.

Essa Saulat is a Product Designer, Entrepreneur and ADHD Coach. He's also a Startup & Design Mentor at software incubators run by The University of Oxford, European Space Agency and Virgin Startups. Outside of his formal roles, Essa is also a trained vocalist in Eastern Classical Singing (Qawaali), under the tutelage of the Saami Family.Specific interests include industrial design, nuerodiversity and designing furniture/products to help positively + passively contribute to mental well being.

Lucia Giron is a Biodesigner and material researcher based in London, specializing in design research through cross-disciplinary engagement. Their work involves the translation of scientific phenomena into design innovations.

Carola Leegwater is at the forefront of innovation in performance textiles. Their expertise is in seamless and circular knit techniques. They also explore alternative fabric production methods bringing a new dimension to activewear.

They research and test creative and functional knit structures for future textiles. Through working with innovative suppliers they introduce new materials focusing on sustainability and wellbeing.

Melendez. Their expertise lies in working with living organisms and computational tools to create bio-
digitally crafted products, textiles, and architectural systems. They use 3D printers and robots to shape
and form living materials for the market of grown-design.
bioMATTERS’ mission is to make biodegradable products with novel biofabrication workflows, to
counter the increasingly negative environmental impacts of current manufacturing processes and
natural resources depletion. Their ambition includes evolving bio-aesthetics and advancing ecological
practices, to promote a cultural shift towards biomaterials.

Ayana Jade is a London-based jewellery company specialising in the design and distribution of contemporary conflict-free Type A jadeite jewellery with provenance.

Medusa Material specialise in creating a carbon neutral concrete alternative harnessing the ability of nature.

​Carbon Cell is dedicated to providing a sustainable alternative to traditional polymer-based foams. Their high-performance expandable foam is fully biodegradable and locks in carbon for centuries.

Samphire are a neurotechnology company dedicated to maximising the well-being of women during key stages of life: menstruation, the fourth trimester, and menopause.

Grasp are a technology startup based in London, their mission is to increase the rate at which humans learn.

Clear Space develop the next generation of debris removal solutions. The company responds to the pressing need to preserve the increasingly congested space environment and is a stepping stone towards other services in orbit.

Adia’s mission is to decarbonise the most difficult buildings in the Global North with AI-generated digital twins and smart devices.

Their first Product- Adia Thermal, enables rapid and low cost heat pump installations for the mass market.

Savvas Alexander is a British/Greek designer, who launched his namesake brand after graduating from the royal college of art in 2022. Inspired by his sporting and product design background, menswear and womenswear is developed with a focus on machined details and seamlessness that showcases technical expertise. The brand advocates for rethinking of systems within fashion by designing closer to the heart of manufacture. 

Jusin Park Architects is an architectural practice based in London founded in Sep 2023. They believe architecture is a framework that accommodates the essence of human life, where the building affects how people inhabit and live. The understanding of this interrelationship between space and life is the key ingredient of their design. Jusin Parks approaches pursue environmentally, economically and socially sustainable architecture, where the building is designed to be open-ended with a long-life, accommodating the changing diverse uses over time.

Studio Matter is an independent design studio, specialising in product design and hardware development for startups and SMEs. They work across disciplines, and have experience in both physical and digital product design.

Juan Castro-Varón is a web developer, designer and maker hailing from the mountains of Colombia now based in London

He is currently working at Google as a Software Engineer, creating tools to stop deforestation in the Amazon rainforest with The Nature Conservancy Brazil.

Luke Hale is a doctor and multi-disciplinary designer working in London, UK. He is currently working as a surgical trainee in East London and is a visiting researcher at the UCL Institute of Surgical and Interventional Science and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

In 2020, he founded Pi-A (pi-a.io), a design and technology company working in medicine, and is the creator of Lungy (lungy.app).

Plexxa was founded by Dr. Saahil Mehta, a London-based plastic surgeon, and builds on Saahil’s clinical research that he performed during his training. Plexaa was created to be the safe, portable, sensor-enabled scaleable and wearable solution to precondition the skin and can be used on any body location. VC backed and have received prestigious grants from the NIHR and the Biomedical Catalyst fund from Innovate UK Plexaa is the first step to getting preconditioning to everyone.

Tulett Design are industrial designers with experience in a broad range of projects but specialise in consumer products which are manufactured in millions each year. Their design skills allow them to quickly move from concept to working prototype stage for mass or batch production. For some projects Tutlett Design enjoy working with their small select team of design associates, allowing them to bring in specialist skills or help meet tight deadlines. In addition to providing consultancy services, Tutlett Design work with partners developing their own products.

The Kairos Chamber project explores the importance of creating slow spacial experiences for the time poor, frenetic city dweller, advancing the idea that environments that create time to pause and be slow are imperative to modern city life. Through exploration of London's hidden water systems, the discovery and forensic investigation of an ancient site becomes the precedent for testing and designing the Kairos Experience. The unique qualities of experience and material found here are explored, extrapolated and reconfigured.  

Lodestar Space, co-founded by Thomas Santini and Neil Buchanan, are developing an in-orbit 3D printer able to print large-scale infrastructure for the next generation of space stations and potentially the moon, in the nearer term, they aim to address current infrastructure challenges in today's satellite industry.

Sri Hollema is the founder of Mat Zero, a rechargeable heated mat that can be used as a heating solution for refugees around the world. Mat Zero has the potential to save humanitarian and non-governmental organisations millions each year whilst increasing the quality of life for refugees. Through Sri's interviews with UNHCR Sri found out that each year the UN spends around $300 per household for heating. The Mat Zero unit is estimated to cost around $250 and would last up to five years before the battery needs replacing – illustrating its long term effectiveness. The working prototype is now ready to be developed into a commercial product, that could be sold for humanitarian purposes and to commercial campers.

Enayball is a design house focused on promoting equality by providing affordable access to independent living for individuals with disabilities.

I am a trained product designer with a focus on social and inclusive design. Sensei was born after a close family member suffered from diabetic retinopathy at the age of 56 years old. Seeing the lack of inclusive products that can make our homes safer for visually impaired people sparked the idea for SENSEI. Using my design knowledge and empathy for my end users I am building a low tech and easy to install product range.

“In my mind, the only thing needed to be inclusive is understanding all you have to do is take an interest in the lives of people who don’t look like you, who don’t speak like you, who aren’t from where you’re from , who don’t share your history, who don’t celebrate like you, who don’t love how you love. Hansol Kim is an artist born in Seoul, South Korea in 1988, and is currently based in London. He studied craft at the University of Brighton between 2014 and 2017, and finalised his masters at Design Academy in Eindhoven in Contextual Design. Kim’s relentless fascination is focused on clothing, which he collects and often finds as origins for exploration in his projects. His intrigue has led him to investigate the role of clothes within societal, political and cultural issues, as well as their form, as he uses shapes, aesthetics, movements, languages and his personal fascination of clothing as a medium and trigger of his works. His key aim is to try to achieve new relationships between humans, clothing and spaces.

Richard Adetokunbo Aina is a multidisciplinary designer and researcher with particular strengths that reside in architectural/spatial design, architectural writing, furniture craft and conceptual filmmaking. His particular interests in amalgam typologies and liminal space drive his exploration towards contemporary West African aesthetic expression. Which he has recently coined "afro-revivalism"

4TEE9 is a design company founded by Mehrshad Abbaslou. Mehrshad has worked in startups, agencies, as part of large design teams and part of product teams. He understands design challenges and uses design thinking and creative problem solving to build lasting designs.

London based Designer and Maker Richard Youel holds an MA in Product Design from Edinburgh College of Art. He set up Studio Youel in 2020, after spending 10 years working in the design, manufacturing and model making industries. 6 years of which were as a Model Maker for David Chipperfield Architects. Highly skilled in Model Making, Woodworking, Metalworking, Casting & Digital Fabrication, Studio Youel aims to create close working relationships with Architects, Designers and Private clients to collaborate on projects at all scales, such as prototyping, model making, product & furniture.

Ella is the founder of Della Yellow, a sustainable fashion brand. Send something you dont wear anymore to Della Yellow, and they upgrade it into a new style for you. If you send a pair of jeans, you could choose to get them back as a midi skirt - same size, new style.

Ella founded the company to reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry and change how we interact with fashion. Della Yellow is about making the most of clothing that already exists and upgrading what you have, so you can wear something unique while reducing fashion waste.

Nicholas Kirkwood is amongst his generation’s globally acknowledged leading shoe designers. Noticing a gap in the market for statement shoes that inspire and empower the 21st century woman to look, feel and be extra-ordinary, the Central Saint Martin’s alumni launched his eponymous brand in 2005.

He has since gone on to win accolades from the likes of the British Fashion Awards, Footwear News as well as BFC/Vogue Fund Award. Nicholas Kirkwood’s designs are defined by daring innovation in the use of unconventional materials and techniques that marry high craft and tradition with the cutting edge of technology and the unexpected. More recently, Nicholas Kirkwood has embarked on a journey towards sustainability, achieving a series of unprecedented improvements in the field of luxury footwear.

Policy Lab is bringing new policy tools and techniques to the UK Government. They are a creative space where policy teams can develop the knowledge and skills to develop policy in a more open, data-driven, digital and user-centred way. Policy Lab make policy making more open. This is in support of the vision for A Brilliant Civil Service.

David is a 24-year-old installation artist and spatial designer based in London. His works and practice operate within the intersection of the virtual and the physical whilst in constant dialogue with the bleeding-edge of technology. The Metaverse, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality as well as Climate Change are prevalent topics explored in his work. He has 12 months of work experience at dMFK Architects during which time he was involved in the development of projects in London and Frankfurt for The Office Group and has worked across RIBA stages 1, 2, 3 and 4. David holds a BSc in Architecture from the BHT Berlin as well as a MA in Interior and Spatial Design from the University of the Arts London. Outside of work he’s a keen music producer and likes to take part in any art related activities.

SCALED is a wearable technology company developing custom-fit wearables for athletes to minimize the risks of harmful long-term damage from joint injuries. SCALED can be used for leveraging injury prevention, rehabilitation and sports performance enhancement through regulated motion control.

SCALED was founded in 2020 by design-engineer Natalie Kerres. Her multi-disciplinary team of experts supporting the project extends across med-tech, additive manufacturing, physiotherapists and athletes.

British Born Hong Kong artisan Rickie is a Materials Explorer who loves to go through the process of experimenting unconventional ways of making. He laboriously practices sustainable design by using waste materials around the world to make with and turn into new objects in metals, woods, plastics, organics, fabrics, ceramics, composites and stones.

With a background in Architectural Studies at University College London and Drawing Methodologies from The Slade School of Fine Arts, Rickie uses different mediums to convey his passion for making with materials.

MuffatPrague is a duo designer maker team. Their pieces are designed and handmade in small batches at Somerset House, working with eco friendly UK sustainably produced brass, FSC certified paper, wood and locally sourced reclaimed wood. Their work is wrapped and sent out using recycled and certified recyclable packaging. Their contemporary illustrative fine art prints, greeting cards and earth positive tees are inspired by things they love and the pieces they make.      

Yoav is a theatre designer with a background in film, TV and scenic projection design. In 2020 he received an MA with distinction in Theatre Design from the University of the Arts London, having studied at Wimbledon College of Arts. Previous to the MA his work has been seen at the National Theatre, Sadler's Wells, Bristol Old Vic, the Eden Project, Stratford Circus, the BBC, Sky Arts, the Tate Modern, Wembley Stadium and at a host of global film and music festivals. Yoav was co-creator and designer of George the Poet's one-man play 'George at the National' (The Shed, National Theatre). His scenic projection design work includes: 'Varmints' directed by Sally Cookson (Sadlers Wells, Stratford Circus, UK tour); 'In Progress' created with Wang-Ramirez and the Olivier nominated Rocio Molina (Sadler's Wells); 'CROW' created by the team behind WarHorse (Handspring UK, 2012 Cultural Olympiad). Yoav's work has also been seen on tour with the award-winning beat-box artist Reeps One and behind the legendary DJ Shadow. He was the winner of the Arts Foundation Award in 2015.

AMPHICO is a material science and design innovation startup developing the first artificial gill system for underwater diving and an innovative circular performance textile.

With archaeology and engineering as a lens, Grace’s practice focuses on the storytelling abilities emerging from intertwined intra-actions of bodies and spaces. By shifting the attention to the intangible forces surrounding physical matter, she has been constructing animate objects puppeteered by shifts in atmospheric conditions. Resulting work has been exhibited in a number of institutions including  On Air: Carte Blanche to Tomas Saraceno in Palais de Tokyo, the Quids-in Friday Late at the V&A, as well as conferences including EarthLab curated by Rob La Frenais.

Anne Ferial is a London-based multi-disciplinary designer, who dreams to bridge culture and technology by way of new structures of accessibility, robotic systems and digital software wizardry. Her main focus on adaptive wearables and her background in print textiles enable her to bring a unique approach to her digital design practice. While a student at the Royal College of Art, Anne has started developing a video game titled “Exoblock”, based on her personal story as a stroke survivor and her autobiographical illustration work. The Exoblock project is a speculative therapeutic quest game based on an exoskeleton game controller, gamifying the physical recovery process post-stroke. The system is based on a customization portal, allowing the user to keep agency over the look of their wearable device. This approach will ultimately allow users to gain control over the design of a useful tool for their recovery, in a playful way. Users will then be invited to partake in a unique 5 level dynamic journey through surrealist environments imbued with audiovisual poetry, providing a space for sensuous healing.

Creative Technologist exploring Identity and Empathy in virtual spaces (Arts council DYCP recipient). With a particular focus on experimental wearables and augmenting the body, she makes use of electronics, circuitry and custom interactive systems in order to create installations, wearable art and mixed reality experiences.

Untap’s unique on-site, automated wastewater monitoring solutions will provide real-time public health snapshots. Our vision is to establish wastewater monitoring for short-and long-term insights, at small- and large-scales.

Tyre wear is the second-largest microplastic pollutant in our ocean after single-use plastic and accounts for up to 50% of air particulate emission (PM) from road transport. Tyres wear out from friction every time we brake, accelerate or turn a corner. The particles become airborne affecting our lungs. More are swept into our waterways and oceans eventually entering our food chain. The Tyre Collective mitigate emissions by capturing tyre wear at the source to ensure clean air, safeguarding our environment and health.

Content is Queen is a storytelling club made up of women, BAME and LGBTQIA people to connect, create, and collaborate using audio and podcasting. We produce, distribute and elevate high-quality stories and ensure they reach the audiences that need them. We will work with our members and clients to upgrade the listener experience through access to our production facilities, members studio (coming soon),producer network and one to one surgeries. We step in at any point in the podcast journey and help set a realistic pace and direction.

Our mechanically animated Weather Clocks have been putting wonder and fascination on the walls of family homes all over the world. They tell the time, of course – but they also forecast the weather, with unmistakable British charm. We’re a brother and sister team, London-based but proud of our Lancashire roots. We trace our love of curious mechanical objects back to childhood – to Sunday afternoons, when dad would stand in the hall to wind the grandfather clock, then tap on the barometer to see what the weather might be up to that day. Old clock mechanics and curious analogue time-pieces have a peculiar charm. At the heart of Bramwell Brown is a fascination with spinning cogs and whizzing parts.

Chris McRobbie is an Independent Senior Design & Innovation Consultant based in Somerset House, London – a centre for contemporary arts, creative technology, design and culture.

Nassia Inglessis is a Design Engineer based in London who focuses her work in designing interventions with the aim to provide impactful solutions, to promote new prototypes of behaviour and communicate with her audience. In search of Interactive Interventions she explores the fields of Healthcare & Medical Design, Biotechnology & Synthetic Biology, Energy & Awareness, Gaming Design and Interactive Materiality in Objects, constantly challenging the boundaries between the designer and her audience. Her work lies on the cross- section between the physical and digital realms combining novel materials, electronics and digital manufacturing.

The Atlas Works is a collaboration between two London based designers and a traditional factory in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco. The range is a collection of purposeful products that combine modern design, beautiful materials and artisanal manufacturing techniques. All the glassware is made from recycled glass which means the colour and surface markings are unique to each item.

SCARLETT YANG is a London based multi-disciplinary designer with a focus on material tactility and virtual mediums. Having worked in couture ateliers, bio labs and digital fabrication labs, she develops innovative approaches on the intersection of fashion, design and technology. Graduated from Central Saint Martins in London UK, her practice speculates the life cycles of fashion textiles for a biodegradable and digital solution to the current environmental emergencies. Using algae extract and silk cocoon protein , she created a glass-like dress that grows over time and can decompose in water within 24 hours. Yang’s work has been exhibited internationally – from the Kyoto D-Lab, CentroCentro Madrid to the 2021 London Design Biennale – and published about by Vogue, Numéro and i-D Vice  amongst others.
