We’re proud to announce that we’re joint first prize winners at the N.I.C.E. awards.
The award, now in its third year, is run by the European Centre for Creative Economy and was chaired by Charles Landry, the international authority on the use of imagination and creativity in urban change. It recognised Makerversity’s work towards supporting emerging creative businesses and inspiring the next generation of creative and practical minds through groundbreaking learning and work experience programmes.
Needless to say we are honoured and humbled. The competing projects were of outstanding quality and we feel every one of them deserved to be a winner as well. A special mention goes to our awesome fellow prize winners, Refugee Open Cities, who improve the quality of life in refugee camps through personal involvement and their very own makerspace.
Thank you N.I.C.E!
