In need of some peace and quiet? Want to do something great for a worthwhile cause? This week, Makerversity members, designers and social entrepreneurs Shift.ms are organising Mission: Silence to support more people with multiple sclerosis through their diagnosis and beyond.
You don’t need to run, jump, climb or bake – you just have to stay silent for 48 hours. No easy feat! The silence will take place between 7pm 20th Nov and 7pm 22nd Nov. Still not convinced? Watch this video and this video then sign up here.
Freddie Yauner (co-founder of Shift.ms and member of Makerversity) is an artist and social entrepreneur bridging the worlds of design and social enterprise. His work is included in the permanent collections at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Design Museum in London and the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. Meanwhile, Freddie is using his skills in design innovation to fill gaps in health provision by building Shift.ms – an award winning social network providing emotional and practical support for people with multiple sclerosis.
