Working Lunch – Data analysis foundations

Thursday 2nd April 2020, 13:00 — 15:00

Count build software and run training courses designed to help teams use data more effectively

Being able to use data effectively is one of the most essential skills in the modern workplace. Yet, for many people, it’s an area where they’ve received little formal training and feel uncertain analysing data themselves or discussing it with others.

In this session attendees will learn the fundamental principles of data analysis so they can use it more effectively in their day to day jobs.

With the use of real world examples, attendees will be guided through the core steps of the analytical process providing them with not only a way to think about data (developing an analytical mindset) but with the skills, tips and watch-outs so they can analyse data better themselves and discuss it more confidently with others.

The workshop is a fun, interactive session over 2 hours (so please bring your laptops) and is applicable to all the data software attendees may use.

Attendees are welcome regardless of their current level of experience, be they complete beginners or someone looking for a more solid grounding for the work they currently do.
