Welly Workshop with Francli

Saturday 2nd December 2017

Francli co-founder Ali Goodman will be running a upcycling workshop, sharing her knowledge of up-cycling and traditional leatherwork techniques by making phone cases from wellington boots. Participants will learn how to prep the material, cut a phone case pattern, glue into place, mark and punch holes, saddle stitch and finish the edges to create your own waterproof phone case.

What Experience do I need?
This is aimed at anyone with any interest in design, making or craft. Beginners are totally welcome, as you will be guided through the whole process. Enthusiasm for eco-design is always welcomed.

What will I make?
You will leave with a mobile phone case with rope lanyard for you or a friend.

Who will be teaching me?
Francli creates hardy work-wear and outdoor accessories, handcrafted in Britain for explorers and creators. From a farm workshop, just outside Falmouth, Francli design, cut and make outer wear, aprons, rucksacks and small carry goodsdeveloped in close collaboration with a local community of creative and outdoors people.

Do I need to bring anything?
All materials and tools are covered in the workshop fee.
