Looking for Christmas decoration ideas? Want to keep things sustainable? Join us for an upcycling and stitching workshop with to make your own ornaments! Complete beginners welcome and tweed material provided. Learn stem stitch, chain stitch and blanket stitch with textiles artist Cathy Eliot. You can use the patterns we provide or your own design. From trees to birds and horses…the sky’s the limit. Including adding names and dates for an extra special touch, for you or as a gift!
Creative Communion is a non-profit social project started by Ciara Brown & Stacy Griffiths. They seek to bring affordable workshops to communities. They focus on importance of sustainability across design, craft and fashion.
Cathy Eliot is a textiles artist who has been embroidering since primary school. In 2017 she appeared on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas (Channel 4) with her embroidered creations!
