Makerversity Presents: Make Your Own Masters

Thursday 13th June 2019, 18:00

The “Makerversity Presents” series showcases the best our community has to offer, with our members constantly redefining the future of creative maker practices. From sustainability to social change, their projects question not only how we make, but why.

Stacie Woolsey’s DIY Masters design curriculum, Make Your Own Mastersfocuses on the overlap between making and science. Through the project’s process and outcomes, Stacie proposes a radical alternative to post-graduate education. Centred around practical experience, network building and experimentation, the project aims to challenge deep-seated issues around access to education. Join her to explore the journey this self-made design curriculum took, from creating new networks to developing new projects in collaboration with companies, designers and cultural institutions.
