Last weekend we had the pleasure of hosting the first ‘official’ Arduino workshop at Makerversity, taught by co-founder Massimo Banzi and Makerversity member John Nussey. The course took complete beginners through their first Arduino steps on Saturday and then focussed more on their individual projects and interests on the Sunday.
It was a great turnout and participants travelled great distances to attend. John Nussey, co-founder of Onn Studio and author of Arduino for Dummies, said it was a great chance for him to teach with Massimo. Massimo taught John the first workshop he ever attended back in 2008, when he knew nothing about Arduino. So if you’re thinking about going to a workshop, do it! You never know where it may lead.
