In August, Makerversity Amsterdam hosted part of the program of the Amsterdam Maker Festival, a gathering for makers, hackers, geeks, problem solvers and all interested, that took place all over the Marineterrein. Visitors got to see the makerspace, where they could directly experiment with 3D-printers, clay and metal, plastics and ask questions to all the members who were present. Our event space was packed with exhibits from Makerversity members, where we welcomed a diverse group of visitors, all wanting to know how it is made.
Lucky for us, the Maker Festival had excellent weather, and the Amsterdam Made Café could be found on the ground floor of the Makerversity building. Amsterdam Made also had vodka, gin and beers brewed right here in in the city with locally made snacks, that were definitely worth a taste.
